    You made the mistake of assuming they choose things based on the audience's reception.

    They were convinced by shareholders or were got a good deal from the studio. That's all.

    Boss Baby being memetic also convinces ghouls that it's more popular than it is. Something having exposure artificially inflates its worth.

    You're thinking too much about the actual goods being produced and not about the capitalist mindset. Everything is like an NFT to them.
