the police who famously exercise no disgression over which laws they do and do not enforce and treat every encounter with the public equally

"Excuse me!" you cry out, "Sirs, kind messengers of The Law™️, please do not use your weapons against me for it is against the law you are tasked with upho-" rapid gunfire ensues.

No. I hate the unjust enforcement, wasted resources, and sheer incompetence of the cops even before we arrive at unjust laws.

Sheriffs literally have complete digression over which laws their jurisdiction enforces. They’re supposed to enforce all of them, but have no oversight

In cities that do have Civilian oversight boards, the civilians never are told how the cases actually play out. So if the cop gets off scot free for beating up a 13 year old, they're never told. No oversight.

Uh, no, I hate the thugs who enforce the laws. The corrupt pieces of shit who made the laws have done nothing personally to me.

also they don't even enforce the law. They are all the enforcement the law has but cops notably crack down on homelessness more than say domestic abuse

"I don't make the rules, I just voluntarily signed up to enforce them and do so with enthusiasm and incredible violence"
