nah CGI wouldn't be the perfect word but its definitionally computer-gen when you have 3d assets for as much as they do, its not the odd CG stand-in for a complicated-to-draw object you'd see in 90s-2000s animation,
all the characters and moving parts of scenes are 3d. no denying huge amounts, possibly the most ever in a style like this is 2d art, and its extraordinarily well done---but it ain't not CG
