I remember having a cool discussion with this group earlier when we discussed how what Homelander symbolized, how AOC was in the story fictitiously, that kind of stuff. Pretty sure the hamster is a one-off or recurring reference to the comic, Hughie adopted a perfectly normal hamster taken from the first Supe he killed.
