Wrinkled with little squares?
Smooth, flowing, luscious, warm from the iron?
Unironed flags are proletarian
Ironed flags are bourgeois and decadent
I will not be taking any questions thank you
Buying flags is participating in capitalism.
Real proles sit in a dark empty room because fun is bourgeois.
The clothes iron is a tool of capitalist oppression and my source is that I only ever iron my clothes before a job interview.
steaming can also work
don’t need a steamer, can hang in bathroom while taking a hot shower
the grommets, if present, can be put in shower curtain rings for convenienceif using a machine dryer for clothes, can add flag
or if hanging indoors/outdoors, wet and hang flag
-- I thought we were having steamed clams
-- Oh no I said steamed flags
all you need is a hot knife (stovetop) or a baking sheet (oven) & some patience.
If you're gonna have a flag, invest in cotton or something.
I go with flax or hemp
I have done this but the libs wouldn't let me bloody my enemies. : (
Also, no one got the Sun Tzu reference so now all my giant flags and banners have real basic slogans on them. : (
fuck you I'm gonna become an
anarcho-syndicalist again
sometimes i iron my work trousers instead of running them in the washing machine
is this allowed??? fukin stop me if you can
Why tf do some of you not own irons you can get one from a thrift store for like $5 and you should have one if you ever wear clothes nice enough to have buttons on them
Counterpoint, most wrinkles work themselves out after a couple hours of wear.
you should have one if you ever wear clothes nice enough to have buttons on them.
Most clothes, even dress clothes, are now wrinkle-free and some shouldn't be ironed at all. This is especially common for women's clothes. I genuinely do not own a single article of clothing that would ever make sense to iron.
Really? Most of my dress shirts say wrinkle free but only one of them actually doesn’t need to be ironed and that one looks like a normal dress shirt but feels like athletic wear
Often I don’t have to iron a whole shirt, but it’s useful to fix a collar
I do not have a single article of clothing with a collar that could be viably ironed.
if you ever wear clothes nice enough to have buttons on them
why would i do that
sorry im white, if i wear button down shirts i just look like im going to invite you to the local mormon church
I don’t just mean a short sleeve white dress shirt, I mean things from this
ShowTo this
ShowTo this
ShowAnd particularly this last one ngl I kinda want this shirt
ShowYeah ironing your garments is one of thos e things that doesn't seem like a big deal, but then you do it and you just look so much more slick.
yeah idk when i want to look good i go for like streetwear, i think id look like a dork in any of those lol
Trans flags with little square wrinkles pinned on a wall is so ubiquitous that I'm declaring it the standard protocol for display
