watching EVA for the first time, on episode 22? I think. Its getting W E I R D, its really fucking good.
I'm halfway through Eighty-Six, and it's been generally fantastic so far. Slightly worried where the story will end up thematically/politically, but it's been surprisingly nuanced with its commentary on fascism/war so far so I've got my fingers crossed.
Also just started reading Choujin X, Ishida Sui's new manga. It's good so far, love his art so much.
EDIT: Caught up with the Houseki no Kuni manga as well, would highly recommend!
I just crushed the first four books of the Detective Pendergast series, been reading through the Hellblazer comic books too. Both on recommendations of users here.
Out of good TV to watch so just mostly watching old action movies
-Anime-
Kaguya-sama S3 - This is one of my favorite adaptations! I love the extra gags the animators have stuffed in and just the general creativity of it
Komi-san S2 - I'm enjoying this season more than the first one. I like these episodes more than the ones where they were introducing one side character at a time
Spy Family - It's great! Not much else to say
Mobile Suit Gundam Zeta - Halfway through with this, just heard the second OP yesterday. I'm enjoying this cast of characters a lot. I really like Kamille and his dynamics with everyone
-Manga-
I'm reading a bunch of things on Shounen Jump but the two I am enjoying the most right now are The Elusive Samurai and Sakamato Days
Oshi No Ko - It artwork is awesome, the mystery is tantalizing. You should check this one out
-Live Action-
The Boys: Saw two episodes at a friend's house and had no idea what to expect. Will continue it and report my future impressions
-Comics-
Grayson (2014) - This is about Nightwing going undercover as a spy. It's pretty funny
The Boys is really good, and it gets progressively better and better. The season airing right now - season 3 - is the show at its best. The Boys was always overtly a critique of the Right and corporations, but I'm really surprised how far the critique of capitalism goes this season.
Hinamatsuri is one of my favorite comedies! Glad you are enjoying it
