              In short- Responsibility only exists if you assume that free will exists, that we live in a non-deterministic universe where the Other that gives us the ability to defy material forces does not originate from those forces. In reality, material forces and ideas perpetrate into themselves in an infinite loop, no one person is the pure originator of their wrongdoings and no decision is made in clear mind. The closest we get is quantum physics influencing things at effectively random.

          Just want to say I’m completely with you. I don’t so much feel bad for these guys as I do feel sad at a world that can create people like this, whose life is a tragedy in every regard as they are doomed to be servants of the system. Bad people yes, but thinking about them just makes me depressed. They dish out more suffering than they experience, yet still experience far more than anyone would in a just world. No such person could ever find true happiness. Well not that I have either.

      This is actually immensely sad. These are people, likely lonely, who have had their minds twisted into instruments of murder and death. And then of course they don’t even receive the selfish benefits for it, because the capitalist machine that creates such cultists only cares about how they can use them, and not their wellbeing. There was never a good ending for these people. They didn’t deserve this fate, and the only way to save future victims is to dismantle the systems of capitalist propaganda that created these revenants in the first place.

      A person has to take responsibility for their actions. What separates a human from an animal is our ability to think into the future and make proactive choices instead of just reactive responses to stimuli. If they really have no control over their actions then they were dangerous animals that were a threat to human kind and and the world at large. Their death is no worse than shooting a rabid dog in fact it is a net benefit to the world.

      If they were just doing what their nature and culture dictated then nobody has free will and nothing matters and I'm not responsible for calling you a fucking moron because I was just programmed to say it by my preordained interactions.

        TBH, I'm not personally sure that people are innately born with that ability, or at the very least I believe you can very much dissolve a person's ability to do this. I don't know as though anybody that got captured here is an example of such a person, but I do think it exists.
