By what fucking metric??? I genuinely wanted Biden to be better than Trump, I thought the main problem with Biden would be a whiplash back to the right after him. But he has been demonstrably worse than Trump even in the short term. His covid response has been worse, and more deaths have happened under him even with the vaccine. He gave me less money than Trump. He’s literally not doing a single fucking thing about any of the number of crises actively happening.

I think it's fascinating that he says it's vital to look at political situations without blinders. Yet - he simply can never deviate from his take that voters get all their opinions from social media and the teevee. Also he seems entirely unable to look at anything through the eyes of other people.
If you're a young American and you want hope - for example at least some of following - greater equality, greater equity, less income inequality, democracy to continue, you don't want fascism, you don't want people to have their rights taken away one after another, and - of course - you want and demand a livable climate in the following decades and beyond that - what is Biden providing you with?
