i always find it funny when everyone is like 'vote dem, they support lgbt rights!' and then i go look at the dem candidates near me and they are all antivaxx gay bashers :yea:
That's when you know that all their talk about civility is just a smokescreen to talk down to people they don't like.
i would love to hear from someone what voting has actually accomplished recently.

I mean I like that people are slowly coming around to the idea. But as soon as Roe v Wade was over-turned, reddit was full of these lone "GENERAL STRIKE MONDAY!!!" posters and it's like wow, you organized an entire general strike with only 3 days notice? how many tens of millions of people are in on this? lol. fuck they're naive

They're firing on all cylinders. Vote. Make sure you're registered to vote. Make sure to get your friends and family to vote. Sign some petitions. Call the cops and let them know when and where you want to protest. Call in for reservations at restaurant that charges $35 for a salad and congratulate your fellow libs for doing democracy.
