Simply adjust your uppers and downers until you perceive reality at the appropiate speed.
I've never listened to a podcast at a higher speed, that sounds hard to follow. Plus if I cut down the time it takes to hear a podcast that just means i have to find more content to fill my work day and I already have so many podcasts I listen to solely because the ones I really like have already been consumed for the week.
Whenever I have to listen to a podcast without my app that cuts down the silent pauses I want to scream

also i'm 99% the virgil thing was fake. i think him leaving Internet Left Media was largely unrelated, and i think the podcast probably broke with him for other reasons. they're not craven enough to cut someone off just because of some accusation without evidence, and they're not cowardly enough to never bring it up if they did have evidence. everything about the situation reads like it was some kind of personal falling out that they don't feel obligated to share with the hogs. don't worry, in 10 years i'll buy the self-published tell-all memoirs and post them for the 33 other people still listening on here and we can find out the truth.
I agree it does seem like they had some kind of mutual-but-complicated falling out. Like Virgil already took a 6 month hiatus after the Bernie campaign and then tried to to move into more mainstream media with Brie.
The accusation against him was probably the last straw though, like I'm pretty sure he disappeared within a week of it dropping, which ironically is the best evidence that the accusation was true.
