I had people in my car who had only been in the US for like 2 months who didn't want to wear their seatbelts. I said something like "everyone needs to wear their seatbelt here" trying to imply that it was the law, but somehow they knew that it was only illegal for passengers in the front seat to not wear seatbelts :angry-hex:
