I had people in my car who had only been in the US for like 2 months who didn't want to wear their seatbelts. I said something like "everyone needs to wear their seatbelt here" trying to imply that it was the law, but somehow they knew that it was only illegal for passengers in the front seat to not wear seatbelts :angry-hex:

      Same lol.

Minibus taxis are the worst, I can count on one hand the amount of people I've seen wearing seatbelts when I used to take them regularly.

    it's true

But the life of Spirit is not the life that shrinks from death and keeps itself untouched by devastation, but rather the life that endures it and maintains itself in it. It wins its truth only when, in utter dismemberment, it finds itself.... Spirit is this power only by looking the negative in the face, and tarrying with it. This tarrying with the negative is the magical power that converts it into being. This power is identical with what we earlier called the Subject.

...you can just use a seatbelt clip for a bottle opener. On the other hand, this would be kind of handy for when I have stuff on my passenger seat that weighs enough to trigger my seatbelt alarm

That seems like a valid use case for it - though it really depends on how often you've got a bunch of stuff in the front seat.

Just use the seat belt to secure the stuff. Takes less effort than looking for this one little thing. Also it comes free with your car.
