Every time I see the "Palestinians aren't real before X date" discourse mentioned I will bring up the fact that my grandfather was born in Jerusalem in 1930 and on his birth record it lists his father's nationality as Palestinian. In 1930. Fucking Zionists

The fact you say that reminds me of that song "Mudzahedin je turski sin..."

Although I think replace "mudzahedin" with fedayeen and "Bosno" with Falastin and it should be fine...

I recognize the reference, but unfortunately, I never, err, learned Turkish to my chagrin (and I forgot Spanish when I was young).

I'm Turkish and Latino, but never kept the languages... 😢

(Anyway, I'm hoping to re-learn Spanish and trying my hand at it right now.)

That's Holocaust denial levels of malicious absurdity. Palestinians? A myth, the KGB made them up. That giant pile of bodies over there? It's nothing, don't worry about it.

Palestine isn't real. It was created by the bad guys from the movie 300 in order to trick King Leonidas into becoming woke.

I don't really get the point of Palestinians as an invented identity because it is irrelevant. Even if it is the truth, there are still a system of apartheid in place, an identity (in this case Arabs) forced on Palestinians by the Israeli Regime. The label doesn't change the the fact there is systematic oppression of a group.

In other point of view, if the ''Palestinian'' identity is invented, shouldn't the Israeli system stop to exist and try to build a more inclusive society?

I also head the argument of Palestinians identity is just Arabs with a history of oppression that differ them from the rest of the Arabs; therefore, it's not real (and they don't deserve rights/recognition????). However, the State of israel doesn't survive this argument neither as Zionism is a building of a jewish and in general eurocentric identity piggyriding on the horror of the holocaust.

it's a case where Zionism's ideological justification becomes a liability. under a secular humanist worldview, all human beings have certain rights which must be respected and upheld. but for the ethnonationalist, people don't have rights, only peoples do, and in particular peoples which have proved themselves by forming modern, nominally independent nation states with powerful military forces.

another result of this is how it filters the catalyst for Israel's formation, the Nazi Holocaust. to the Zionist, if Jews aren't allowed to forge their own state through blood and soil, to consecrate leviathan with a period of mass killings of indigenous peoples like the other western powers, then there's no way to say that the Holocaust wasn't in some sense justified. they really do believe that Europe is for (white, Christian) Europeans, and therefore Israel must be for (white, Jewish) Israelis.

Lol Israel, just because your idols blamed everything on Bolshevik conspiracies, doesn't mean you have to too. The Soviet Union has been gone for decades.

Zionists, and I cannot stress this enough, are just as bad if not worse than neo-nazis.

Were the Nazis this dumb? I mean they're both malicious and evil but atp I feel like the Nazis had a more "grounded" view of the world than Zionists.

Zionists just gaslight the fuck out of anyone and everyone.

Frankly, the Nazis were plenty dumb and buffoonish when you look back on them; there are a lot of documentaries, books, scholarly studies, etc. that kinda document their buffoonery.

Not to detract from the fascism of the Zionists here, mind you!

      Eh, it's apples an oranges.

Both are fruit but of a different flavor.

Nazis had a fucking college to study Odin, and not in like a folklore way like they tried to prove Odin was real.

Nazis are pretty dumb yeah, you see the entire Nazi war effort in WW2 is very... Nazi-like. They took power in Germany and in mere years they invaded everyone they could without doing the preparations needed for it but don't worry because my superior ideology and race will make up for the economic and military shortcomings, also I have BIG PANZER and BIG KANONE which will make the enemy tremble before us. When you read about their actions in the war, their planned offensives, their economic policies in wartime and stuff, you see Nazism leaking through the gaps. It's really stupid and lacks logic, like believing they would defeat the USSR in one or two months because "subhuman slavs", or how the Jews controlled the world despite being the "inferior race".

The special type of dumb Nazi is the one who believes in the occult, in the Thule Society (which predates proper Nazism but many original Nazis were heavily influenced by it), the Black Sun and shit like that. In other words, those who joined the SS not for military reasons but for political-mysticist reasons, because they liked to hear Himmler preach about esoteric shit or something. That's a special kind of dumb nazi, weebs for everything Nordic but heavily twisted to fit their Nazi identity. Curiously enough, Hitler wasn't interested in this crap, he used to ignore Himmler when he spoke about these societies and shit. This kind of belief system is what constitutes the core of many neo-nazi groups today, which is interesting to say the least. For example, see the neo-nazis opearting in Ukraine right now, they all recycled these old and quite niche symbols like the Black Sun or the SS-like runes. Do they truly believe in secret societies and stuff? I don't know, but the fact these symbols and meanings managed to survive the entire post-war era and find their way into modern nazis is interesting, and certainly contributes to them not being the smartest bunch of people.
