It's honestly been great so far, really loving it. So much better than Discovery and Picard. Only criticism I can think of is Rebecca Romijn can't act IMO but she's just one in a large ensamble. Not like Trek has some long history of only having top notch actors in the main cast anyway.
I’ve been liking it a lot too. Although I will say that the fact that it’s a prequel AND a sequel really limits any character building to be done in the show. Also pretty much removes any tension from action scenes with Spock, Uhura, et al
