When it comes to any other equipment - all I have is a kettlebell set: 5, 10, 15, & 20 pounds.

#1 is $54. #2 is $130.

Should I get a bench like #1 or something with more stuff like #2?

Amazon search: exercise bench

#2 but more sturdy and simplified, like this bowflex. You can do most of your upper body work out, bench presses, back pulls, military shoulder presses etc... with it

edit: but if you're sticking with light weights, #2 will be fine, #1 just doesn't seem versatile enough.

I'm not an expert at this but there is value to being able to set it up at an incline for overhead presses if you want to target different groups of the chest & shoulder muscles.

The issue with going with #2 is that its not a high quality bench and you run the risk of it failing if you are doing incline work. Stick with #1. Plenty of stuff you can do with a flat bench.

Get the first bench and spend the extra money on used plate weights and go buy two screw on CAP dumbbell guys.

Having dumbbells is gonna be so good for your workouts, it becomes so much more versatile. On top of that, you can just go and pick up more plate weights for it as you get stronger. I recommend looking at Facebook marketplace or craigslist
