:this-is-fine:
edit: i'm not posting the article because it’s got good advice, just because i think it’s a noteworthy sign of where we are that wealthy people are being marketed this stuff
This is a bad article written for rich libs, and you can tell because at no point does it suggest moving to these countries to work, but rather to treat it as a long-term vacation while the home country burns. There are few, if any, jobs suitable for American
expatsimmigrants in Belize or Costa Rica or Italy - the locals themselves have a hard enough time securing employment as-is. It's callous and just gross all aroundyeah, i wasn't posting the article because it's got good advice, just because i think it's a noteworthy sign of where we are that wealthy people are being marketed this stuff
Oh for sure, I wasn't directing the anger at you, sorry if it came off that way
it didn't, but i realized that my post as it was wasn't clear on my stance towards the article.
I can't afford to leave, and I dont want to leave. The USA is my home and I want to make it a better place. Or die trying.
People live here, people are dying here. This article frustrates me because we should be trying to make our home a better place to live. Not running off to ruin someone else's home.
Wondering how to move out of the U.S.? You’re not alone. Between the recent Supreme Court decision on abortion rights, gun violence and other safety concerns, racial tensions
:racism-finished: :what-the-hell: Yeah the tension of one side getting genocided you ameriKKKan KKKlownsI can't believe we still see media say stuff like "racial tension" which is just victim blaming, and they can still get away with it.
It's very similar to calling the violence the US creates in Asia "ethnic conflict" or idiots falsely claiming the occupation of Palestine is about "religion".
Belize and Costa Rica? Rich expats from NATO countries have already been a cancer for Costa Rica as they raise the cost of living and drool over underage girls. Belize is stretched thin and already has an immigration issue from its neighbors. There's also a good chance Guatemala could invade for its resources as climate change ravages it.
yeah, i wasn’t posting the article because it’s got good advice, just because i think it’s a noteworthy sign of where we are that wealthy people are being marketed this stuff.
actually i'm going to update the original post with that
Yeah I get that you were showing what countries are being marketed to the wealthy.
It just pisses me off because Central America is a popular destination for these freaks and they do nothing but make life more miserable for us. I'm lucky that they're too scared to come out to where I live, and I'm glad I don't have to see them outside of the rare occasion I go to the Capitol.
poison the world with capitalism and smack all attempts to get rid of it
try to escape there
The page doesn't load for me. The best way to post an article is to use archive.today
i'll be honest, i didn't read the article, i just thought it was a bad sign that forbes is now talking about this stuff.
Even the cheapest countries not listed here cost thousands to move to. I’m gonna be stuck here until some federally funded proud boys stab me to death :agony-deep:
