This is the same guy who went on Fox News to debate nutjobs that didn't even listen to him. Not surprised at all by this.

The only good thing he did with his Netflix show was the pro trans episode and even that was only done as preformative wokeness to make chuds mad, not because he actually gave a single fuck about trans people

Every other episode of his show was pro-capitalist, pro-corporate propaganda especially the GMO episode, literally has a panel made up of a farmer who only grows roundup ready crops, the CEO of Monsanto and some guy who doesn't actually oppose but did present the only dissenting voice by presenting evidence that GMO crops haven't improved yields at all because farm productivity has continued to increase at the same rate before and after the invention of GMOs which no one else on the panel, including Bill Nye respond to, they just move on like it didn't happen(no idea why they even left it in, maybe an editor didn't agree with his agenda)

Regardless of your position on the issue, even if you think genetic modification has great potential to help humanity you have to see how incredibly biased this episode was, he literally had the fucking CEO of Monsanto on to lie to impressionable young people

This isn't new either, remember he has a history of doing propaganda for the fossil fuel industry like that Epcot attraction he did with Ellen

I have a book recommendation for Bill! Andreas Malm, a social activist and academic, has written about the theoretical basis and possibility of blowing up pipelines and other infrastructure actively killing us and our planet! It's a very interesting academic theory! The link above is to an episode of Rev Left radio where Bret and Andreas discuss this fascinating theory together and expound upon where the environmental movement can and should go next.

Read/listen to theory, nerds. It's good for you 😏
