I guess? There are indeed 18-year old high school seniors (I was one for instance), so it's not like they just made that up to cover their asses or anything. Criticizing the game for male gaze and the usual sexualized female protagonist stuff I can totally see, but I really don't think it's specifically meant as pedo-bait.

I dunno, as long as a character's presented as of age and look as such (Ergo, aren't "1000 year old demon vampires that just so happen to look like little girls") I guess I just don't really care personally.

They are mediocre but they have batshit crazy things other games just can't pull off. Killer is Dead is like a fever dream but still cool despite being kinda janky
I don't think that's entirely true. Fanservice is def. a thing in alot of his games of course, but I do think they have a unique style to them too (Some work better than others). Any developer worth their salt can just make some big tiddy anime babes and be done with it. The soundtracks to his games for example are more often than not fucking awesome.
