We've all heard the liberal argument "if there is a candidate only 99% as bad then you're morally obligated to vote for 99% Hitler." But when we extend that logic to a nearly identical scenario it suddenly sounds a lot less compelling.

turning a big dial that says "Hitler" on it and constantly looking back at the audience for approval like a contestant on the price is right

I mean, it's just dishonest. They don't believe it themselves, it's just a rhetorical tool. Liberals have only adopted that line of argument so they can shame anyone with principles into voting for Biden. If they did believe that 99% Hitler is worth supporting over 100% Hitler, why do they whine so much about Stalin?

Because they believe Stalin was worse than Hitler.

If 99% Hitler loses he will oppose 100% Hitler out of partisanship. This could have the effect that 100% Hitler will be virtually 99% Hitler.

What policies would make someone 1% worse than Hitler? Advocates for smoking cigarettes on top of being hitler?

Realistically, being healthier and more competent would have made Hitler worse I guess

hitler himself is only 99% hitler on his bad days, so i think we should vote for him and hope he has many bad days.
