Oh, absolutely. The Tokyo -> Kyoto shinkansen arrives something like every 10 minutes. If I miss a bus where I am, it's an hour wait at best for another one.
The Shinkansen was a wonderful experience when we went to Japan.
Same. Super fast service, super clean, loads of leg room.
And frequent, if you miss a train, it's barely an inconvenience to grab the next one
