    Homophobia and transphobia is still very much around but acceptance seems to be growing. There are setbacks but the overall trend is positive. You didn't see as many openly LGBT people ten years ago.

    More and more people lose faith in liberal-conservative capitalism. Rising inequality, fascism and climate change are all real and serious dangers but they are making people question the system. More and more people are openly socialist, people who would have ended up as succdem radlibs ten years ago are communists today. Strikes are union activity is increasing.

    China keeps winning and making westoids seethe.

    US hegemony is breaking down, opening the possibility of a multipolar world order with less imperialist exploitation and better possibilities for post-capitalist societies to emerge and thrive.

    Supermarkets where I live reliably stock cilantro now.
