Will struggling to contain Matt and Felix's riffs on the latest episode was a nice hit of nostalgia.

I've been listening more and more regularly since the start of the year, and after February, they've been knocking it out the park on Ukraine, Roe v Wade, media criticism, etc. I guess it took a compounding series of disastrous crises at home and abroad to reactivate them, they'd been a bit languishing since the end of 2020.

Agreed the last one especially was a standout. So many good shinzo assassin jokes in such a short time.

I like the bit about how Abe's father should have gone ahead with his Kamikaze training

I have never listened to a single episode (weird for this site I know) is it actually worth getting into?

The actual pod is pretty hit or miss. If you just want the hits check out Acid Marxist's youtube channel, they've done a great job of sifting through the hundreds of hours of dry boys to find the best parts. The hands down best start-to-finish episode they've ever done was when they went to CPAC in 2017 and :matt-jokerfied: did acid, some a-tier comedy.

Edit: The movie and tv reviews are all pretty awesome, I like the jack ryan eps and the Avatar review

That was 2018, not 2017. I know because I started listening in 2018 and that was one of the first handful of episodes they did after I started.

Sometimes, yeah. On a recent episodes Matt stressed how every institution works to prevent one thing: Talking to your neighbors. On that same episode Felix framed the infinite money our country funnels into law enforcement as a weakpoint of neoliberalism, as that is how much it costs the wealthy to protect themselves. Their mercenaries are one paycheck away from being on the public's side.

I think both they and the Adam Friedland show finally got the same batch of good cocaine.

Lol I always forget that the guys are in their mid 30's because I just feel so much older than them. Truely arrested development.

You might as well just go from the last month forward if you're just using spotify or whatever. If you want to go back further than that you're generally better off going through clip farm channels on youtube like Acid Marxist
