    There's a poll from January in that article that asked Americans what should be the top priority for the President and Congress in 2022.

    Addressing climate change was #14. Defending against terrorism was #6.

    Unless we see the collapse of capitalism in the global north and subsequent rise of socialism (or maybe a massive Carrington event), the biosphere of this planet is utterly and completely fucked.

      Exactly. Also, a significant part of the reason the GND failed was because party leadership called it unrealistic and ridiculous. Dem voters completely respond to that
