    it was good.

i'm glad kim finally realized how awful her and jimmy were. she deserves better and it's glad to see her actually acting on her conscience

also, gus and mike look about 95 years old in these episodes. it's ridiculous. put some CGI on them for fuck's sake

I love how they all look older (or fatter) than they did 10 years ago. BB takes place is a weird alternate universe and this is part of its quirks.

i liked the return to the scumbag saul hair at the end of the episode. it really solidified how shitty everyone looks and feels at the end of this series

that does look really good! i get why they want to keep CGI shit out of this series but maybe that was a bad decision for a prequel

I think the one that surprised me was Don Eladio, he looked way older than he did in BB.

for sure, he's basically cartel grandpa at this point. meanwhile the guy playing hector is basically just frozen in time looking old

my read of the gus scene was that he was having a good time and was bringing up the wine to invite the guy back to his house. he wanted to replace his chicken brother who got killed with a new person and allow himself to be happy, but then he smells the blood from the soil in the wine and it reminds him that his whole existence is basically him coated in blood and he realized he was being selfish trying to get someone else wrapped up in that

you're probably closer to the truth because he was staring into the pool earlier. who the fuck sells wine like "damn think about all the people who just died in the field"
