      :wtf-am-i-reading:

Between these fuckers, the patsocs, and the radlibs, it feels like they're trying to chip away at the movement from every possible angle or aesthetic.

I don't mind radlibs. A lot of them are Berniecrats who learned about our policies through protest slogans. These types can actually do goods things when it doesn't get too garbled in translation. For example, in Portland, gun control targeted at cops is getting actual airplay in establishment liberal circles (which is sort of a canary for the same thing happening in Denver and Seattle). A lot of them are people questioning their political positions and open to radicalizing. I've been able to drive a lot of people left from this place.

Then there's liberal co-opters, but they've always been around and you can usually tell because of their desire to channel everything into non-profits, their calls for "nuance" on black and white issues, and their love of ineffectual methods that end up making democrats money.

Normally I use the word to refer to the latter since it's kinda pejorative. The former I'd call socdems or syndicalists since they can be taken seriously to a degree.

Calling people syndicalists in the 21st century in an anglophone country is silly.
