I know someone who got it after being in close contact with someone who was positive. So yeah I'm uh feeling pretty freaked about it. The only upside is that there are still apparently no deaths reported which is giving me some :this-is-fine: energy
Yeah the lack of deaths is pretty much the only reason I'm still sane.
However for young and relatively healthy people the risk of this seem on par with covid. Death is unlikely but permanent damage to your body is very possible and it's sounds like an overall just horrible experience
