Not yet because I'm still too busy freaking out about the normalization of very very high COVID rates.
It's spread through contact with other humans so I think I'm basically immune by default.
I just cannot bring myself to care after seeing how the US responded to Covid
For me that's what makes it so upsetting. We already know the government will do absolutely nothing to alleviate the spread
I already assume it's going to go completely unchecked because the treats and vacations must continue uninterrupted forever and ever. I'm somewhere between :jokerfied: and :doomer: about any new diseases.
Yeah unless it can somehow become a threat to capitalist's profits there not gonna be anything done to stop it
They didn't do anything about Covid and it's threatening profits pretty hard.

Nope. Freaking out won't do anything. Our governments don't care about anything and have drastically mishandled covid. They won't do better for the next pandemic.
I'm in full nihilism mode. I'll do my best to stay safe and get vaccinated when possible but other than that I'm going to try and enjoy my life to the full extent of my capabilities
Nah. I'm pretty shell shocked at this point. Also, I probably won't catch Monkeypox because of how hard I'm hiding from Covid.

I took a PCR covid test the other day and with insurance was told that I'd be charged $125 when this shit was free for ~2 years no wonder this shit is spreading.
Luckily it's still free in my country but a second booster is 50 bucks.
I know someone who got it after being in close contact with someone who was positive. So yeah I'm uh feeling pretty freaked about it. The only upside is that there are still apparently no deaths reported which is giving me some :this-is-fine: energy
Yeah the lack of deaths is pretty much the only reason I'm still sane.
However for young and relatively healthy people the risk of this seem on par with covid. Death is unlikely but permanent damage to your body is very possible and it's sounds like an overall just horrible experience

I currently am recovering from COVID. Once I'm no longer infectious I'm gonna throw myself into social things, because if Monkeypox is serious the country is gonna be super fucked up, again, for a couple years and I want to have some fun in the meantime. I have 0 faith in American government and only my youth and health have saved my uninsured ass from COVID
I'd be freaking out more but I haven't seen any friends in-person in over a year already, and I spray down my worskpace + chair with cleaner everytime I'm forced into the office.
Yes, but also I'm shocked at the complete apathy to the latest Covid wave that's ripping through the population without a shred of action from leaders.
I swing between disassociating, full jokerfication, and/or full doomer, so I'm getting pretty good at not feeling things anymore
