Probably can find books from Universities with chemistry and bio-chemistry departments in the used book bins. Might even find syllabi for those courses online with the required reading and find them in digital form on libgen or somewhere.
I'd imagine there are enough "how to make fun drugs" sites on the darkweb to find info on packing pills and sources of pre-cursor ingredients. Probably do the whole VPN thing before searching/visiting those sites or find somebody to do the research well away from where you are and physically print/deliver the information to where you'll be doing the work.
