I live in a state that could very well swing Republican this fall which means abortion and contraceptives could be forced underground. The next time the Republicans take D.C. they will be made illegal nationwide, which means crossing state lines won't work. Stockpiling medicines isn't a bad idea but if we do have to resurrect the Jane Collective, wouldn't it be better to be able to make it ourselves?
If a small group of comrades could muster a couple thousand dollars for lab equipment or securely access a university lab, then it would just be a matter of sourcing ingredients and following a recipe, right? Is there information on how to do this?
You'd probably want to go find some "how to do chemistry/biochemistry lab work" manuals from somewhere and read through the basics of setting up a clean room, lab equipment setup/maintenance/cleaning, handling/storing/mixing chemicals. Probably can find books from Universities with chemistry and bio-chemistry departments in the used book bins. Might even find syllabi for those courses online with the required reading and find them in digital form on libgen or somewhere.
I'd imagine there are enough "how to make fun drugs" sites on the darkweb to find info on packing pills and sources of pre-cursor ingredients. Probably do the whole VPN thing before searching/visiting those sites or find somebody to do the research well away from where you are and physically print/deliver the information to where you'll be doing the work.
