Sometimes I'll get told we shouldn't use overtly leftist words like communism or Marxism, because that will frighten and alienate the majority of working class Americans. We'll automatically trip over their religious or patriotic sensibilities and never make progress with them.

I'm going to start pointing at these reactionaries whenever I'm asked to make my ideology more palatable for Americans.
