    1. Even when it came out I knew a lot of horrible things about the Spartans and I knew that any movie lionizing them would be bad, but damn if that movie isn't cool as fuck. Pokes my brain right in the aesthetic center.

      The Great is fantastic imo, its schlocky consistently enough for me to never really care about the inconsistencies and also dunks on the fetid vibes of feckless liberalism that is so often displayed.

    Lust from Beyond. I saw the lovecraftian aesthetics paired with a weird sex cult and really had to experience it. I still like the art direction, but the plot was really disappointing and the sex stuff made it feel more awkward rather than interesting.
