It looks like a bunch of nerds trying to merge a communist political movement with nationalist symbols in a haphazard way. That black, blue, and red flag is the Donetsk breakaway republic and the Z is a commonly used symbol of the Russian Federation's army. It's pro-Russian, (not Soviet) stuff. That big sculpture in the back is Abraham Lincoln, America's 16th president (1861 to 1865). It looks like it's a smaller replica of a Lincoln head the original American Communist Party would use at some of their events. The other flags being used are the USSR's together with the American.

basically it's a complete gibberish mess. It's some kind of project by that guy Caleb Maupin and my guess is it's just a method to get more public speaking jobs rather than a serious political project

Caleb has been publicly advocating for socialist and anti-imperialist causes for over a decade. Please look him up instead of so flippantly dismissing his work and insinuating that he's a sellout. Public speaking jobs? If he was looking to get paid he'd find it much more lucrative talking about something else.

Edit: Never mind, this guy is horrible.

Didn't he write a book that was pretty much "the JEWS" with all the references of "the JEWS" find/replaced with something less obviously bad?

Yeah, "Satan at the Fountainhead", amongst other things it pins the blame of Ayn Rand's views squarely on her Jewish heritage.

Thanks for sharing, I hadn't heard of this before.

You follow some of these people for a while and appreciate what they have to say about socialism and anti-imperialism, then later find out that they advocate for some contemptible ideas. It's difficult to reconcile the two... ignorance is bliss.

No problem comrade, if it helps I also used to like some of Caleb Maupin's anti-imperialist takes, what turned me off him was a video he did platforming a TERF and claiming it was okay because they were both against "transgender ideology" and not individual transpeople. I didn't find out about the antisemitism until later.

Ok lemme look him up. "American patriot" in twitter bio. And lemme read a little bit more... Wow, ok this guy is a complete crank, moreso than I originally believed. Thank you for suggesting I research him and I hope I never hear his name again. Goodbye
