someone on here recommended 5-4, I caught this odd lib-brained interview idea while working in the Novichok dicksucking lab this morning before therapy

I posted this yesterday - https://hexbear.net/post/210853 - it still makes me laugh. It's a tally of the dem senators view on a filibuster carveout for a Roe law.

I follow the publisher of Talking Points Memo and his site often has dem tally stuff. It's usually utter dog shit. But because he's a huge dem fanboy he tries to make it seem unfortunate even though he's not a dummy and he's fully aware he's pushing dog shit at the dem voters and telling them "I know it looks, smells, and tastes like dog shit but... what if it's not???"

If the dems accomplish a miracle and keep the house and get - I dunno - five more seats in the senate - they still won't kill the fucking filibuster. And I bet they still won't codify Roe. They want it as a 2024 campaign issue and fundraising tool. Because they too are dog shit.

1000%. The shitty thing is they’ll probably keep the senate but lose the house so they’ll have more plausible deniability. But I live close to Delaware and there’s 0% chance Chris Co0ns will vote to kill the filibuster. Among others. Feinstein? Come on. ossoff? Please. But if they lose the house libs will just blame it on that. Zero self reflection.

What if (:galaxy-brain:) they lose house, but win senate. Then pass bills in the house before new electeds take their place, and then stamp them in the senate after they do :galaxy-brain:
