"Should" is the most useless word we have. As soon as you are discussing what "should" have happened, it means you have already failed.

My therapist says, replace "should" with "could." All of those things could have ended Trump's career. But they didn't. Why not? But that would be self-reflection upon a failed ideology, and we're talking about Reddit libs here.
