A new report from the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Los Angeles reveals how the city has spent the more than $1 billion received under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The report shows that the majority of the money went to pay the salaries of police, firefighters, park rangers and other city employees. None of the money was allocated toward building housing for the homeless or health initiatives like vaccines.
Obviously fuck cops they didn't deserve a dime. I'm glad that firefighters got paid though, they work crazy hard in California.
Firefighters are weird because I am glad for their work but the vast majority are douchebags on an individual level and chuds.

Firefighters are different because except for when they're breaking down doors for the Sheriff during evictions, their core job and role is a unquestionable good for society. Individual firefighters are chuds but the role and purpose of firefighter and firefighting are good.
Chud firefighter culture should probably be examined at some point though.
