      Tbh this was definitely a political prisoner type situation. Under their own laws she gets like a month in prison for this. She obviously wasn't looking to distribute with less than a gram of oil. It's absurd on its face. It's a shame she is caught in the political crossfire.

        Yeah I read somewhere that the sentencing judge straight out said that the sentence was partially retaliation for America trying to politicize the trial.

        Uh hello? I'm referring to the war on drugs which the US started and forced many MANY countries into participating in despite a local and historical apathy towards drug usage, particularly marijuana. Instead you think that I'm asserting that bc the west has adopted a more (and only somewhat better view, lmao) lackadaisical approach to marijuana legalization, that the Russians were somehow in their right to oppose it now?
