Yeah he was an amazing human. Gone way too soon.
One thing I noticed in the documentary was touch. He was open to people in a way I don’t see in many leaders. Greets his guards by bumping them on the chest. Always hugging people. Infectious smile.
He’s so good that he has people calling in to his weekly radio program giving up their land to help build their community. And always setting up leadership to help organize.
There’s a reason you still see Chavez posters at protests around the world and probably will continue to for the rest of our lives.
I remember this one, it's great. If only because it's one of the few documentaries of this kind that actually gets to end on a high note.
