Examples of racism/euro-centrism during the Russia-Ukraine conflict

Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins
Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)
Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.
Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.
Telegram Channels
Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

Last week's discussion post.
I heard American mercenaries complaining about how the Ukrainian troops lack an “offensive mentality”. They are frustrated that they are just sitting back in fortified positions and not making maneuvers and strikes.
What they don’t realize is all of the aggressive and brave Ukrainian troops had their “offensive mentalities” destroyed by Russian artillery fire and turned into mist. The only ones still surviving have a “defensive mentality” - they refuse to advance or attack or leave their bunkers
Hmm yes I do enjoy not dying to a howitzer shell I think I will opt not to charge across an open field today.
wow you're telling me emergency volkssturm and literal prisoners don't want to be the tip of the spear? smh the slavic brainpan truly lacks the capacity for heroism.
It's really funny when 'Barry' has a more accurate idea of how U.S. marines operate than like 99% of shows and it is presented as a satire.
such a good show.
that figures
Shockingly, the guys on the defense are using defensive tactics.
Sitting in a bunker while you get blown to hell by artillery is a slow attrition loss 100% of the time
I mean, at some point you have to counter attack, yes. But if you can't muster the forces for a broad offensive most troops, most places, should sit in their bunkers and hopefully degrade the enemy over time.
Ukraine are a bunch of Nazis and Zelensky is fucking up their strategy with a ludicrous Kherson offensive. But they're not dumb. They've conducted this war fairly well given the constraints.
Will still lose though, they just don't have the resources.
I’m not talking about Kherson, the mercenaries are technically right - the defenders would do a lot more damage with quick recon strikes and fast moving small squads.
