Just remembered that they're very particular about this speed in Back to the Future. Do I have paranoid brain worms or were the producers fash?

    Spielberg Zemeckis seems kinda racist in an unexamined , low key way. Like Marty inspires the mayor to run in 1955 and invents rock and roll. He does that in Forrest Gump as well - Elvis is inspired by Forrest instead of black performers and all the POC characters are basically part of the background for him throughout the film.

      Director of both is Zemeckis, but yes, BOTF has this weird racism to it. And of course, Spielberg's company produced all Zemeckis' stuff.

          Oh yeah, he's not a :frothingfash: by any stretch. Roger Rabbit is actually :train-shining: as well. Z is just a standard :grillman: boomer (as we see in Forrest Gump).
