    The problem is that tankie at this point is a term completely devoid of meaning in the same vein as SJW. Since every one has a different definiton of what tankie exactly means. I had people call Vaush and Noam Chomsky Tankie. Libertarian Socialists will get called tankies by liberals in the future.

      I've worked with folks who'd call American cops tankies. Marx is somehow a tankie too despite dying 30 years before tanks were ever used. It means anything. It means when something's bad and mean.

      Tankie was always a liberal leftpunch, from day one the tankies have been correct and it was chauvinist libs attacking them from the right

      Yeah it's pretty useless as a word. Sometimes I hear it used against PatSoc, Nazbol types and I can't really be mad at that since obviously those people are lunatics, but then I see it used against someone like Parenti and I get whiplash.
