    It's roleplay.

There are hundreds of ways humans do roleplay, you just don't like the aesthetics of this one. It doesn't make it any different to any other act of roleplay humans perform though, there are hundreds of hobbies where people create a "persona" and roleplay being someone or something different. Furries just made events out of it that are popular and have a very visible cultural footprint because their entire hobby outputs shit tonnes of art.

The only thing furries really demonstrate is how much art matters to creating a community and culture. The only minor difference furries really have to any other roleplay hobby is that there's a heightened focus upon absolutely staying in character and your character being a version of you that doesn't hold back due to fear of societal norms. Let them chill, they're hurting nobody.

I mean, yeah there's a lot of porn but also there's a lot that's just normal art except furry.

Porn is unquestionable art. At least half of all art produced during the renaissance is spank material for rich patrons. It might not be good art, it might be mass produced kitsch, but it is art.

I mean, yeah I kinda agree in the sense of it being a creative output of humans that has a cultural impact.

But I still think that there's a difference between it and creative arts intentionally created to be art that is worth highlighting.

At first I thought you were talking about the person who made the tweet.
