There are also like five hundred people with picrew avatars in the replies saying it's the best episode of the show because in the end of it the psychiatrist lady explains the toxic fans that the epic scientist guy is a bad person. Incredibly baffling.

Yeah, a lot of the ideology and its implications are embarrassing, so it's something you ignore to enjoy the show. Thing is, once the same showrunners (who I'm being told are horrible brainwormed people) try using the show to figure their shit out, it becomes even more embarrassing and too big of a part to ignore.

so it’s something you ignore to enjoy the show

There's some things that I can't personally ignore. It's a subjective thing, perhaps, but "haha child sex abuse is funny haha" (and the rest of Roiland's horrible anti-union pro-techbro ideology) makes it hard for me to really enjoy the rest.

      it becomes even more embarrassing

If anything would be entertaining to me after what I already saw of the show, it would be seeing the le edgy selfish :reddit-logo: science man getting called out and dunked on. I already checked out and am not coming back, but still.

To each his own, I guess. Than against it's been like ten years since I've seen the show. Maybe it didn't age well.
