Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)

Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.

On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

Today's statement from FSB regarding the assassination of Dugina:

The FSB solved the murder of Russian journalist Daria Dugina.

The crime was prepared and committed by the Ukrainian special services.

The performer is a citizen of Ukraine Vovk Natalya Pavlovna, born in 1979, who arrived in Russia on July 23, 2022.

In order to organize the murder of Dugina and obtain information about her lifestyle, they rented an apartment in Moscow in the house where the deceased lived.

To monitor the journalist, the criminals used a Mini Cooper, when entering Russia they used DPR numbers - E982XH DPR, in Moscow - Kazakh numbers - 172AJD02, and when leaving - Ukrainian numbers - AH7771IP.

EDIT: Also, Dugin has issued a statement through a friend . He's been at the hospital since the incident.

It was fast yeah. According to that statement it was actually her who was targeted, not the father. The part about following her and them renting a place in Dugina's apartment block. The woman in question was (is?) part of Azov, apparently. Unclear as to choice overall, but important figures use bodyguards, Dugins didn't. So it might have been a matter of expediency. Someone more or less well known, someone openly supporting Russia, and someone that can be reliably killed soon.

Ok so the Ukrainian side denied involvement, which is strange since they like to claim credits in eliminating Russian targets.

So your think that ukraine is interested in proclaiming that it initiated a Terror Attack against a 29 year old Girl and Civilian , whos Father (and Her) said things it did not like , thats in Ukraines Interesst . Yeah they should really make it a Holiday and Buy out ads in western Newspapers ! We killed a Girl with a Carbomb ! Slava Ukrainie"

please check your conspiracy brain ,

Same reason why we had the Red Army Faction and operation gladios constantly offing people: once you get terrorism going, it keeps going.
