Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins
Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)
Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.
Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.
Telegram Channels
Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

Last week's discussion post.
It's pretty typical that Reddit will post endless tiresome statements by the Ukrainian government that they'll take back Crimea (somehow) or straight up Ukrainian propaganda that the FSB really did a false flag against Darya Dugina as fact but haven't made a single solitary peep about their government essentially abolishing the vast majority of their labor laws this week.
Listened to the latest episode of The Bottlemen with that dude from Ukraine who translated an article/message put out by the economic minister of Ukraine and how they want to de-industrialize Ukraine and lost my mind how stupid and avaricious it was. They literally want to repeat the '90s again but over the scraps of social wealth left on the bones of the country and its government assets.
Or their government openly shelling civilian nuclear and hydro plants putting hundreds of thousands of lives at risk
To be fair the Russians are deliberately positioning artillery there
But I've seen some particularly manipulative media framing the last couple weeks on that issue that included at least a couple headlines implying that the Russians were shelling that nuclear plant. The plant that they occupy.
There has been 0 evidence of Russian MLRS or artillery guns at the ZNPP. You fell for Ukrainian bullshit

I've only heard this from outlets that also say in the same article "both Russia and Ukraine claim the other is shelling the plant." That level of cognitive dissonance is purely the realm of liars and the insane.
Idk man. You shouldn’t shell nuclear plant either way

Yeah, those threads are ridiculous. People claiming that full NATO intervention could end the war in 24 hours (I mean, I guess it could but more in the sense of a global thermonuclear war rather than le epic wholesome victory for the west), I sincerely hope it's some astroturfed Langley shit but who fucking knows anymore.
How soon until we get the Reich Labor Service with Ukrainian characteristics?
