Warner Bros. Discovery has axed about 13 non-white executives as it tries to climb out of debt. It will likely affect the shows and movies that are made.
Discovery doesn't actually produce BattleBots, it's made independently and Discovery is the North American distributor. It might be on a different channel in your region, or piracy might be your only option to watch it.
there's "king of bots" and "this is fighting robots" out of china, as well as old and recent robot wars, and comedy central and abc/discovery battlebots.
kob is kinda what we're used to, TIFR is some chinese-ass chinese celebrity show and you might want to watch a "just the fights" playlist on youtube instead.
Yeah it's annoying. If they cut out or at least cut down on the filler they would actually have time to show every single match instead of skipping some of them. But the actual matches in BB are the highest quality in the sport and there's nothing else on that level.
I will also shill for Battlebots at every opportunity. Greatest sport ever - there's a Chinese show about it too but that's hard to find in English.
