        Everywhere else on the planet roundabouts are safer and have higher capacity than intersections. But you could totally convince me that Americans can't figure them out because of some weird intersection of car brain and exceptionalism.

      There's a suburb I frequently pass through nearby and there's a roundabout intersection near that suburb. There's a different walled suburb community at each corner. They aren't gated communities but they have little walls around them with names like "Dogbert's Meadow" or some shit. It used to be a 4-way stop that would get really backed up so I'm glad it's a roundabout because traffic flows smoother. However, Americans really do get confused by roundabouts because once or twice a year one of the walled communities will be having its wall repaired because some dipshit decided to ramp over the middle of the roundabout
