Everywhere else on the planet roundabouts are safer and have higher capacity than intersections. But you could totally convince me that Americans can't figure them out because of some weird intersection of car brain and exceptionalism.

There's a suburb I frequently pass through nearby and there's a roundabout intersection near that suburb. There's a different walled suburb community at each corner. They aren't gated communities but they have little walls around them with names like "Dogbert's Meadow" or some shit. It used to be a 4-way stop that would get really backed up so I'm glad it's a roundabout because traffic flows smoother. However, Americans really do get confused by roundabouts because once or twice a year one of the walled communities will be having its wall repaired because some dipshit decided to ramp over the middle of the roundabout

They're regional in murica. I've been places that overuse them, even.

If I lived somewhere with f ree college I would just stand lectures just to do it. Learning shit is fun. I loved Organic chemistry. Building molecules and shit. Only thing I enjoyed more than that was Geology. I took that shit as an elective and god damn it was fun. I'd have changed majors if I had taken it earlier in my schooling but it was literally my last semester. Also kinda rough job market... And that's in an already rough job market.

I accidentally minored in chemistry in college, 100% of what I learned was from Khan Academy and not lectures
