I'm sure it will be very hard-hitting and Leftist

Liberation for trans people does not fit neatly into the boxes neoliberalism would like. You have to contend with the fact through colonialism and all that came with it, imperialists forced their culture on most of the world and as a result often destroyed any transgender history that existed therein. People like to talk about how trans people are a modern phenomenon when in reality across the world through all cultures there were trans people, it's just through imperialism that these groups were destroyed and forced to be forgotten. The reason people think it's a new thing is because the people that hated trans people already destroyed huge swathes of our history. She's not going to bring this up, she's not going to bring up how in our daily lives transphobia is displayed through the most mundane of aspects to cis people.

To truly have trans liberation you need to go to the core of how our society functions for the stereotypical white family. A mom and a dad raising two children where the father is socialized to not express himself and not partake in household chores as he goes to work and the mother remains at home as a domestic slave with her only influence being the rearing of the children being socialized to ignore her own needs in favor of her children's. Why do we gender children at birth even though we know there's a section of the population that is harmed by such practices? Why do we have to socialize children based on their gender, the girl toys are focused around nurturing and are often obnoxiously pink, while boy toys are centered around violence.

Our society would need to radically view gender in a different light which would require literal 180 degree turns on a huge chunk of absolutely fundamental aspects to what is considered cultural norms at this point that it would require significant revolutionary action to achieve, something Contrapoints is not advocating for. She might press a bit harder on the establishment to adjust some of their practices, but fundamentally she sees trans liberation as a possibility under neoliberalism despite the fact that it simply is not. There will be concessions but like Lenin said, the capitalist powers will take revolutionary heroes and whitewash them, name some streets after them, erect a few statues, but in the process will completely defang their original message. For trans people this means a continuation of the society that inevitably harms us and without a fundamental shift will continue to hurt people.
