The paper isn't supporting the idea, just defining it. The idea is that most :amerikkka: tragedies tend to "honor the fallen," but COVID has bucked the trend and moved toward similarly minimized deaths like racial health disparities. They even call this ignorance a routine aspect of neoliberal government!

This bitter Earth. What fruit it bears. What good is love that no one shares? And if my life is like the dust the hides the glow of a rose, then what good am I? Heaven only knows. :agony-deep:

Overlooking the realities of infectious disease epidemiology, these accounts portrayed COVID-19 as a mild disease and imagined a population of robust and physically normative individuals who would survive an epidemic unscathed and ready to return to work.

    ha!

The pressure to not be communist exists so even if they are they literally can’t come out and say it without being ostracized.

That's what it looks like to me. "Mass death among less grievable subjects." The people who endorsed conspiracy theories died like flies and nobody felt the least bit bad.

    That just sounds like eugenics.

They openly admit they want to sacrifice you so porky can be even more spoiled rotten. Then they accuse you of "decadence" because you do not think a white man should be pampered at the expense of a black man.
