It used to be common for foreign TV shows and movies to get localized titles, and dammit, I think that those titles had a lot of charm. So I'm bringing them back myself!
Some of these are "full" titles, some of these are more meant to be subtitles that come after the original title; some of these are more literal translations while others are more evocative and often groansome localizations; some of these are popular anime, some are less popular. Regardless, I hope I have at least achieved the aesthetic of an eyeroll-worthy second-hand video cassette box from Norway in the 1990s.
How many of these my favorite concoctions can you recognize? Maybe you can see a familiar name here or there, maybe a cognate, maybe that's not enough and you need to ask me to provide a translation/explanation/cognates. It'll be interesting to see how it goes.
So without further ado, break a leg:

I guess I'll reveal all the correct answers at the end of the day if they haven't all been guessed by then...

Nettopp! "Lutesøster" skal oversette 干物妹 himouto, som er et teleskopord sammensatt av 干物 himono ('tørrfisk') og 妹 imouto ('yngre søster'), basert på slangordet 干物女 himono-onna ('tørrfisk-dame'). Jeg tenkte at "lutesøster" hadde en bedre lyd enn "tørrsøster", et sterkere inntrykk, kanskje.
Jeg kan allerede si at Hotaru fra Non Non Biyori har Stavangerdialekt
